Family Strength Associates is a non-profit community based organization established in 1996 to improve the lives of children through training and social support. Our mission is to assist in the restoration and maintenance of the family unit so that the family can become a self-sustaining productive component of society. Our purpose is to provide instruction and guidance to adults and organizations that are directly involved in the growth and development of children and families. Our primary desire is to re-establish within our communities the eternal transcendent moral values on which our country was built.
Consultants at Family Strength have extensive experience in training youth leaders, teachers, and parents from urban and suburban communities. Each training session is comprised of stimulating hands-on activities, customized to address the particular needs of program participants. In the context of a comfortable and familiar environment, FSA instructors encourage questioning, participation, and critical reflection during the training process. The action-oriented workshops provide practical information that is immediately applicable to daily life situations.

Ms. Ramata Choma, MA
Ms. Choma is the founder and director of Family Strength Associates, Inc. As an Early Childhood and Family Specialist, she is dedicated to providing assistance in the effort to re-build and strengthen the family and its members. Ramata has taught in public schools, colleges and universities in several states. She has been a seminar leader and adult educator for over 20 years.
Mrs. Danita Thompson, MA
Mrs. Thompson is the associate director of Family Strength Associates, Inc. and takes pride in providing quality service to the community. Her dedication and commitment to youth and childhood issues is known throughout the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania region. Danita taught in the public school system of New York and New Jersey for 11 years and has been a workshop presenter in the early childhood setting for over 6 years.
